Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the “Background Remover by Gabrezo” plugin for Figma (the “Plugin”) and of gabrezo.com (together, the “Service”), provided by Gabrezo (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the Plugin you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Plugin.

1. What the Plugin does

• Free tier. Background removal runs entirely on your own device using open-source segmentation models. No account, sign-in, or payment is required.
• Pro tier (optional). A one-time purchase that unlocks the cloud cutout for edges a local model handles poorly (hair, fur, glass). Cloud cutouts are subject to a fair-use quota: 200 per day and 2,000 per month per license.

2. What you buy (license scope)

• Pro is a one-time payment (US$12, as shown at checkout). It is not a subscription and is not charged again.
• You receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Pro features in the Plugin on up to 3 devices per license key. You can deactivate a device to free a slot.
• The license is personal. Do not share, publish, resell, sublicense, or redistribute your license key, and do not use it to provide a competing paid service.
• We may suspend or revoke a license in case of abuse — for example quota evasion, sharing a key publicly, or automated bulk use.

3. Payment and refunds

• Payments are handled by Creem, acting as our merchant of record. Creem processes your payment details and applicable taxes; we never see your card information. Your statement may show Creem as the seller.
• 14-day refund, no questions asked. If Pro is not what you expected, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund it in full.
• If the Pro features do not work as described, contact us at any time — we will fix the problem or refund the purchase.
• Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence (for example, statutory withdrawal rights for digital content, or consumer guarantees).
• Refund requests: support@gabrezo.com (or reply to your Creem receipt).

4. Fair use of the cloud tier

• Cloud cutouts are limited to the daily and monthly quota above, per active license. We may adjust the quota with reasonable notice in the Plugin or on our website.
• Do not use the cloud tier to build a bulk processing or resale service, and do not attempt to bypass quotas, rate limits, or license checks.

5. Your images and content

• You keep all rights to the images you process. We claim no ownership of your content.
• You are responsible for having the rights and permissions to process the images you use with the Plugin.
• What is processed, where it goes, and what we store is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to process or create content that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others, or is sexually explicit involving minors. You also agree not to interfere with the Service's operation, to access it by automated means other than the Plugin, or to reverse engineer it except to the extent such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

7. Availability and changes

• The cloud cutout depends on third-party services. We may change, limit, or discontinue the cloud tier with reasonable notice. If we discontinue it, contact us and we will discuss a refund for a recent purchase.
• The free tier keeps working on your device for as long as the Plugin is installed; model and runtime downloads require our asset host to be reachable.
• We may update these terms. Material changes will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date; continued use after that means you accept the updated terms.

8. Disclaimer and liability

• The Service is provided “as is”. Automated cutouts are not always perfect — you are responsible for reviewing the output before you rely on it, especially for commercial work you may license or sell.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim.
• Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence still apply. Please contact us first — most issues are resolved by email — before pursuing formal proceedings.
